With roots tracing back to 1925, when Paul Hatcher first began operating the barn as the “Paul Hatcher Sale Co.,” Emporia Livestock has long stood as a cornerstone of Kansas’s livestock marketing tradition. From its early days marketing Holstein dairy cattle, mules, and hogs to today’s focus on high-quality cattle, Emporia has grown alongside the cattle industry and the communities it serves. Under the leadership of Olma Peak and the formation of P & H Cattle Company, Inc., the barn has become synonymous with trust, professionalism, and forward-thinking cattle marketing.
Today, under the management of Brody Peak, Emporia Livestock continues to evolve—making recent improvements to its auction facility and maintaining its longstanding commitment to the Kansas cattleman. With weekly sales every Wednesday at 11:00 AM, Emporia’s dedication to consistency and quality aligns seamlessly with DVAuction’s mission to bring premier cattle auctions to buyers and sellers nationwide through cutting-edge online broadcasting.
