The 50th Annual South Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic is coming to the Washington County Expo on October 22nd

The 50th Annual South Central Texas Cow-Calf Clinic is coming to the Washington County Expo in two weeks.

The clinic on Friday, October 22nd will begin with registration at 7:30 a.m., with the program getting underway at 8 a.m.  This year’s program will focus on Ranching for Tomorrow and will include conversations covering Estate Planning, Beef and Cattle Markets Overview and Outlook, A 50 Year Reflection of the Beef and Cattle Industry, Laws and Regulations, and Innovation in Pregnancy Determination Strategies for Ranchers.

Attendees will also be able to watch live cattle demonstrations, participate in contests, visit with tradeshow vendors and network with producers and speakers.

For the eighth year in a row, the Washington County Beef and Forage Committee and Texas Farm Credit are partnering to give away a bred commercial heifer purchased at the Washington County Fair to one lucky guest.

New this year, the first 75 completed preregistrations received will be entered to win a special Yeti Tundra 45 Hard Cooler.

Early registration closes Wednesday, October 19th and is $20 per person.  Late registration will be $30 at the door.

The program is put together by the beef and forage committees from Austin, Brazos, Burleson, Colorado, Fayette, Grimes, Harris, Lee, Waller and Washington counties.
