Unique Items and Premier Genetics Offered During Red Angus Foundation Inc. Auction
Denver — There will be something for everyone at the upcoming Red Angus Foundation Inc. auction held during the 69th National Red Angus Convention. The auction will take place Thursday, Sept. 15 at 7:30 p.m. MDT at the Hilton Garden Inn in Kalispell, Montana. Due to the generosity of donors, top-notch items will be available for bidding, however, the jewel of the evening is the "Pick of the Herd" lot graciously donated by Feddes Red Angus, Manhattan, Montana.
The buyer will have choice of Feddes' 2021 and 2022 heifers. The Feddes family has built a quality cow herd using balanced-trait sires in their AI and ET program. With more than 75 years of experience in the beef industry and the past three decades in the Red Angus breed, the Feddes family has developed a reputation for heavy-weaning calves and problem-free females.
Auction proceeds will benefit the RAFI Research and Development Fund. Donations, memorial contributions and fundraising assistance empower RAFI to support junior programs and advance the Red Angus breed's position in the industry through research and development. The auction donations will help RAFI finance meaningful research projects that allow U.S. land-grant universities to conduct valuable beef cattle research.
In addition to the "Pick of the Herd," buyers will vie for numerous items in the RAFI Auction:
For those not in attendance, DVAuction will broadcast the sale live. More details about the "Pick of the Herd" and other auction items are available at https://redangus.org/rafi-
