Red Angus Membership Continues Growth Trend- Annual Increase of 7% to 4,471 Total Members 


The Red Angus Association of America reached new record highs in all categories of membership during its recently completed fiscal year ended June 30. As shown in the table below, total memberships increased 7% compared to the previous fiscal year. Growth was similar across membership types, with Regular members up 6%, Juniors up 7% and affiliates increasing by 8%.



RAAA President Johnny Rogers recently made the following statement about the breed’s rise in membership“Red Angus cattle create value in all beef industry segments and provide the consistency producers need for profitability and sustainability. Our success in providing genetics to the commercial industry has attracted new members, presenting opportunities for continued breed expansion. We have the good fortune to be involved with a breed built on sound performance principles, and have long held the vision to pursue innovation for our stakeholders.”
