Red Angus Commercial Cattlemen’s Symposium to Promote Collaboration, Innovation and Elevation in Boise
Denver – The epicenter of the Gem State – Boise, Idaho – will be a hotspot for innovative and forward-thinking cattlemen and women during the 68th annual National Red Angus Convention. The Commercial Cattlemen’s Symposium, hosted by the Red Angus Association of America, is sure to be a highlight of the convention and will offer beef producers the tools and knowledge they need to strengthen their operations and improve their profitability.
This year’s symposium, held at the Riverside Hotel in Boise on Wednesday, Sept. 15, will embody the convention’s theme of “Collaborate. Innovate. Elevate.” and will feature a diverse, experienced group of speakers guaranteed to offer valuable insight to attendees. A wide array of topics will be addressed, including a keynote address from Julian Garcia, CEO of Beef Northwest, a keynote address discussing feed efficiency from Randall Raymond, DVM, director of research and veterinary services at Simplot, a panel discussing all things feeder calves and a panel addressing cull cow management and marketing.
Attendees will hear from Trent Stewart, as well as receive updates from the Red Angus commercial marketing team. Additionally, the popular ladies’ symposium will once again be offered featuring Kiah Twisselman Burchett, sixth-generation rancher and women’s wellness advocate, which will begin at 1 p.m.

The RAAA trade show will be open throughout the day and the symposium will conclude with dinner and a social at the Boise State University Sky Center overlooking the Boise State football field.
