Dodds Cattle 

Dodds Cattle is a third generation cattle operation in the heart of Nebraska. This area is known for its neighbors, who still gather to assist with harvest and help in hard times. Belgrade Nebraska is centrally located, approximately an hours drive north of Grand Island, blessed with bountiful pastures and rich soil.

Bob grew up in the very home that he raises his own family in, alongside his wife Tonya, who shares the same inherent passion for cattle. It was Tonya’s desire for purebred genetics that drove Bob to purchase his first purebred heifer and it is has been a rewarding endeavor ever since. He continued the legacy and set out to acquire the brand back that his grandfather once owned. The brand we use today was once owned by Harold Dodds. We pride ourselves in that brand and what it signifies. It was his grandfather’s living and the foundation he set forth, for generations to come.

We not only raise Registered Angus. Dodds Cattle is a multi-faceted operation that consists of everything from feeder to finishing. We finish several hundred of our own head every year and custom feed for our customers. We are an approved NHTC cattle site and are BQA certified. Most of our feed comes from our own family operation, Dodds Farms.

With our consistent quality in proven genetics and more than 40 years of A.I. service, we’ve gained an invaluable amount of knowledge in what works and what does not. We breed several hundred cattle each breeding season by A.I., offering breeding services and real data of some of the industry’s top genetics.
