Pakistan beef production highest on record

Pakistan produced 2.5 billion pounds of beef in 2019, up 90.4 million pounds from the prior year.  It was the most beef ever produced in Pakistan.

Pakistan has produced more than 2 billion pounds of beef every year since 2016.  

Pakistan first produced more than 1 billion pounds of beef in 2004.  Beef production in Pakistan has grown every year since 1961 except for 1978 and 1996.
