“Paid in Pounds” Sweepstakes Awards Producers with Premium Deworming Tools

Andy Swenson, David Evertson and Ross Pinkelman to receive Te Pari® prize package

DULUTH, Ga. (Sept. 12, 2019) — The “Paid in Pounds” sweepstakes, supported by LongRange® (eprinomectin), awarded three producers with a Te Pari prize package valued at more than $4,000 each. The following winners each received a heavy-duty loadbar setV20 revolution injection gun and T10 scale indicator with Wi-Fi:

  • Andy Swenson, Swenson Cattle Company, Worden, Montana
  • David Evertson, Evertson Ranches, Laramie, Wyoming
  • Ross Pinkelman, Bloomfield Veterinary Clinic, Bloomfield, Nebraska

The prize package will help winners quickly and accurately dose animals while saving time, cutting labor costs and creating a smoother cattle-working experience. “These tools make it easy to deworm responsibly,” said Doug Ensley, DVM, cattle technical marketing manager, Boehringer Ingelheim. “Producers can also improve efficiency by using a deworming product that is proven to last throughout the entire grazing period.”

LONGRANGE delivers up to 150 days of parasite control in a single, injectable dose.1 Dr. Ensley added, “Conventional dewormers only offer protection for the first 14 to 42 days of the grazing season. Season-long control from LONGRANGE helps cattle spend less time getting dewormed in the chute and more time gaining weight out in the pasture.”

Producers are encouraged to work with their veterinarian to develop an effective parasite control program for their operation. Boehringer Ingelheim is proud to offer the “Paid in Pounds” sweepstakes program to promote accurate dosing, and would like to extend a sincere thank you to everyone who entered.

Each sweepstakes winner received a Te Pari prize package valued at more than $4,000.
