John May: Delivering the Keynote Address at CES 2023

May to preview how technology will help feed a growing world

Expect a surprise or two when John Deere delivers the keynote address at CES 2023. Chairman and CEO John May, who will be among those delivering the address, said the company will show the tech community how its technology will help feed our growing world.

“Technology is core to Deere’s DNA, but we don’t create tech for tech’s sake,” May said in a recent LinkedIn post. “There’s purpose behind everything we do, so that our customers have the tools they need to tackle some of the world’s greatest challenges. I’m really excited for the tech community to hear our story in January.”

May recently sat down with GadgetMatch’s Michael Josh Villanueva for a preview of what’s to come.

CES “gives us a chance to show how our purpose driven technology has a huge impact on our customers,” May said. “Our goal is to make our customers more profitable, more productive, and help them do the jobs they do in a more sustainable way. To do that, we’re leveraging the most advanced technologies. CES has had a history of talking about how technology and innovation solves some of the biggest global problems we have, and that fits perfectly with agriculture and feeding the world.”

CES 2023 is planned for Jan. 5-8 in Las Vegas.
