Happy National Day of the Cowboy

Put on your boots because it's National Day of the Cowboy!

Since H.J. Justin began building boots on the Chisholm Trail in 1879, Justin has continued to honor western tradition and uphold the Standard of the West.

Standards that motivate us to give back to the community and lend a helping hand to those in need. Standards that continually push us to deliver excellence in our craftsmanship.

Our friends on Facebook said it best…

Staying true to your roots.

"Being a cowboy means going hard from sunup to sundown. You put in the work no matter what, doing everything you can to take care of and provide for your family."

It's the work ethic and attitude that makes you a cowboy.

"Respect, how you handle yourself, your work ethic. I believe there are cowboys who work cattle and ranches, and there are cowboys who work in office jobs, retail, law enforcement, etc."

Being a cowgirl isn't easily defined.

"Stay true to your brand; saddling up and staying in the saddle when no one else is willing."

Live your life by the cowboy code.

"The western lifestyle is all about fostering the Standard of the West for the generations to come."
