Cherokee Sales Co. Weekly Market Report from November 10th, 2021

We marketed 7436 head yesterday, November 10th, 2021 for the WLAC Regional Qualifying Event.

The market did not disappoint with prices considerably higher in most to all classes when compared to the outstanding market we had last week. Cow and bull prices were steady to last week with high yielding cows selling $73.00-80.00.

We appreciate all the buyers, sellers, contestants, judges, employees and LMA staff that made yesterday's event a success. Not only did we sell a record amount of cattle for this time of year for our barn but we had one of the largest crowds we have ever experienced as well. The hustle and bustle of everyone on sale day sure made for a fun and exciting day!

Next week we have a Weaned Calf Special Sale scheduled and already have close to 500 Cherokee Certified calves on the books along with several other weaned calf consignments. If you would like to consign please give us a call at (580)596-3361. Next week will be our last sale in November before we break for Thanksgiving.

Also, take note that our Special Bred Stock & Replacement Sale is December 11th, 2021. The consignment deadline for that sale is December 1st. Call with your consignments ASAP so we can do preliminary marketing of your cattle.

We were honored to be selected to host the 2021 World Livestock Auctioneer Championship Regional Qualifying Event at Cherokee Sales Co yesterday, November 10th, 2021. We welcomed contestants, judges and spectators from all over the country for a day filled with quality cattle, lots of talent and plenty of comradery. Congratulations to all the contestants!
