In January, beef imports into the United States surged to over 500 million pounds, marking a remarkable increase of 38.11% compared to the same period last year. This substantial rise was notably led by Brazil, which imported a staggering 155 million pounds of beef into the U.S., reflecting an impressive 48.34% increase from January the previous year.

Australia also made a significant contribution to the surge in beef imports, with a remarkable rise of 128.27% compared to January last year, totaling 96.532 million pounds. Canada followed with an increase of 8.63%, importing 91.859 million pounds of beef into the U.S.
