The USDA reported the cattle inventory in Argentina in 2021 at 53.831 million head, down 630K head from the prior year.    The cattle inventory in Argentina has remained over 50 million head since 2013. 

The largest cattle inventory in Argentina was in 1976 at 61.469 million head. 

The cattle inventory in Argentina was over 60 million head from 1975 - 1978.  The inventory has never been higher than 60 million head since 1978.
